| “Doc” Flores was our medic from Feb 69 to July 69. He was wounded by an incoming rocket attack at Shamrock hard spot. Both his arms and legs were injured. He was in the hospital the same time as Matias Herrera at Ft. Sam Houston. Doc became a nurse after being medically discharged from the Army in 1975. His nursing career has lasted over 30 years. He has returned to Vietnam 3 times as part of a volunteer program. Doc returned to Cu Chi and took a tour in the tunnels under the city. Doc has a son named Noe age 28 and a grandson David E. age 10 |
