“Doc” Browning was a well respected member of our platoon. He was a very caring and compassionate man who gave his all at Diamond FSB the night it was overrun by the NVA. Doc will always be remembered by the guys he took such good care of. Doc was a graduate of the University of Washington in pre-medicine.He planned on being a medical missionary. Doc was responsible for saving the life of a wounded soldier the night he was killed. He showed the utmost of galantry and will never be forgotten as long as one of our platoon members lives.
